Child abuse is when a parent or caregiver , whether through action or failing to act, causes injury, death, emotional harm or risk of serious harm to a child. It has many type of forms including: maltreatment, neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, exploitation, not providing basic needs for life, and emotional abuse. Its killing or forever scaring thousands of kids. Child abuse happens all over America to thousands of innocent children, and is becoming a serious problem. Some say child abuse is only physical however, child abuse takes many different forms. Maltreatment is cruel or violent treatment of a person or just plain mistreatment. Neglect is leaving a child, or fail to care for a child properly. Physical abuse is the use of physical force that may result in bodily injury, physical pain, or impairment. Sexual abuse is molestation or forcing undesired sexual behavior by one person upon another. Exploitation is the action or fact of treating someone unfairly in order to benefit from their work.
