The fingerprint tests´ showed us that the only people who touched the bloody tire iron were Nicole Burlington and Matthew Maloy. Nicole Burlington is the spouse of the victim so her touching the item is reasonable but Matthew Maloy touching it is strange especially because we later learned Matthew Maloy shares the same blood type found on the tire iron meaning this was possibly the murder weapon.
The next test we took was a blood test that showed Matthew Maloy and Timothy Taylor share the same blood type of B+ with the victim. B+ blood was also found in the victim’s car, cabin, and tire iron which means Timothy Taylor and Matthew Maloy may have been in contact with these places
We then inspected the tire tracks found outside of the victim’s cabin and found that they are an exact match of Matthew Maloy’s tires meaning his vehicle is likely the vehicle used for escape after the crime.

Maloy is also a prominent animal rights activist who has trying to save Lake Larson and has been unsuccessful because of Robert Burlington. This motive drove him to to drive to the mayor’s cabin and beat him with the tire iron before shooting him dead. During this conflict he left the animal hair there along with his blood and fingerprints. He then drove away leaving his tire tracks, and because of this Maloy had no alibi. All evidence points to this being the truth and while some test may have been inaccurate it is highly unlikely that all of the test failed which is why I believe Matthew Maloy should be tried and arrested for the murder of Robert
