Being a criminal and sexually touching people of a younger age is all they will know. Their needs of medical and cognitive behavioral help will neglected and once out of prison and on probation they will be supervised and put immediately into treatment.
In March 2007 there were 2,700 male sex offenders being held in state prisons in all of America. (New York Times 3/4/07). The Federal Bureau of Prisons gave information on prison based treatment programs. The treatment is completely optional; there is residential treatment and non-residential treatment. Residential Sex Offender Treatment Program is of high intensity; it goes on for 12 to 18 months they meet 5 days a week and work on not reoffending. Their main goal or objective is to stop
