After his father death his mother was admitted to a mental hospital while there Malcolm was forced to go into foster care. A corrupt childhood but it didn’t stop him from succeeding in junior high he was highly intelligent but faith turned him down once again he aspired to be a lawyer but a teacher broke his dreams when she laughed and said "no realistic goal for a nigger" then suggested to be a carpenter. Then his life was turned to petty crimes at the age of 14 by 21 he was put to jail. While in jail Malcolm was introduced to the nation of Islam and questioned Christianity and other religions. The religion practiced that African American men and women should practice self-reliance after jail Malcolm went to Chicago to search for Elijah Muhammad the leader of the nation of Islam. He turned his life around started preaching as a sidewalk minister but later was promoted to mosque minister with his knowledge and powerful speeches. He took this time to go back to his roots in Africa and Saudi Arabia where he found that true Islam is about peace tranquility and equality for everyone. When he came back he formed an organization called the afro American unity group which tried to make peace and resolve issues with civil rights crimes and more peace less violence. Malcolm’s life was changing the way he preached, the way he lived, and even the way he handled thing. He was also a big target to hate from the kkk and the nation of Islam. During the feud with nation of Islam, kkk, and even the FBI Malcolm took a stand on his rights to bear an arm if he was threatened. The minister received many of phone calls and death threats to him so at the time no one was his friend people took it to the extreme and threw bombs in his house which burned it down even if it meant to kill his innocent wife and children. This gave Malcolm even more reason to take a stand on hate and gave speeches on what black people should do for instance he believed that all black people if the U.S. government was unwilling or unable to protect black people,
