After his third daughter was born Malcolm watches the march on Washington critically, unable to understand why blacks are excited over a demonstration of a group of white that run it are in front of a statue of a president who has been dead for a hundred years. 1964 Malcolm visits cassis clay for a week and meet Martin L King, Jr. for the first and only time after a conference and breaks away from nation of Islam and form the Muslim Mosque, Inc. Shortly after he forms Organization for Afro-American Unity and returns to Africa to meet with African leader. At the age of forty his house was firebombed on February 14th. A week later Malcolm was shot by Nation of Islam members while speaking at a rally of his organization in New York City. He was rushed to the hospital but Malcolm did not survive.
About 20,000 people attend his funeral. Malcolm x story stared not good but it got better and he help create the future.
