Malala Yousafzia was born in Mingora, Swat Valley, Pakistan on the 21st of July in 1997. Malala grew up with two brothers. When Malala was old enough to go to school she attended an all-girls school that her father Ziauddin Yousafzia established. Malala's father Ziauddin Yousafzia was a teacher and human rights (person who uses action and strong words to support or oppose something). Ziauddin Yousafzia, Malala's father motivated/brought about Malala to raise her voice to (help increase/show in a good way) every child's right to an education. The Taliban unfortunately still thinks about/believes Malala Yousafzia and her family a threat and still have a target on them. But since of the previous attack on her, she has so much support from everywhere around the world that the Taliban cannot do anything to harm Malala and her family. On her 16th birthday she started to raise her voice again. That day she gave a speech at the United Nations. She also wrote a self-written life story named, "I am Malala Yousafzia: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban." In the fact-filled story or film (about an event or person), it shows how Malala recovered and started to speak out again (even though there is the existence of) Taliban's threats to her and her family. A book was also written about Malala in 2013 called, "I am Malala: The Girl Who Stood up for Education and was Shot by the Taliban in 2013.
