The Taliban will not tolerate women 's education; however, Malala goes to all risks for the right to teach other females. When the Taliban find out about the education Malala is receiving, they hunt her down, shoot her on a school bus, and leave her for dead. They thought the silenced her, but four years later, she still speaks to audiences around the world, and fights for women 's education.
Before the Taliban took over Pakistan, people were not nervous to leave their homes. The Pakistanian people roamed the streets, and interacted with neighbors. People left their doors unlocked at night because they knew everyone and trusted them with everything they owned.

However, Malala’s father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, was stuck on the name Malala. The name comes from a young famous Pushtu from Southern Afghanistan. Her home town was being taken over, and the her townspeople ran and hid away from the attackers. No matter how many people told Malala to run and hide too, Malala stood bravely and faced the people who were attacking her town. She then encouraged the townspeople to be brave and to face the attackers too. The name Malala means sorrowful, which is what both Malalas were for their towns …show more content…
When she arrived at the hospital in England, the doctors were very doubtful that she would survive. After the surgery for getting one of the bullets from her neck, Malala went into a coma for three days. When she woke up, her family gathered around crying, and proceeding to tell her how much she was loved, for they feared that when she fell asleep that night, she may never wake again. But despite all odds, Malala lived.
It took Malala four weeks for her to be able to learn how to read, write, and how to walk again. After only three short months of being gunned down, she was released from the hospital.
During her recovery process, her name was shared all over the world. The news of a young fourteen year old Pakistanian girl fighting against the Taliban surely made it to the number one headlines on multiple news stations across the world.
