Activist, hero, and inspiration are adjectives that Malala are correlated to. Most people are informed that she is an activist for girls’ education but she could also be a lot more in other people’s eyes. Malala Yousafzai changed the world by speaking out for girl’s education. She earned many awards for being brave and her speeches for her want for an education. Malala wanted to fix the world’s problems. She showed everyone should get an education no matter their gender, race, religion, or looks. She is leaving a legacy as the Girl’s education activist.

After malala got shot, she ended up getting worse, so they had to fly her to a hospital in Birmingham (Yousafzai, 160). Doctors all over the world offered to help malala recover and pay for the expenses on her surgerys. One day, malala woke up in the hospital afraid and confused because she did not know where she was, why, or why her family was not with her (Yousafzai 133). Shortly after, her family came to Birmingham and reunited with Malala. Malala finally had her last surgery (Yousafzai 156). After the last surgery, she was finally released to go home on February 3, 2013 (CNN.com). After Malala was released she had to spend time doing physical therapy and trying to get back to her old self. She went to a new school in Birmingham (Rowell 92). While she was in the hospital she realized people knew her story and they were rooting for her (Yousafzai 165). That motivated her to speak out again so people voices could be heard. Her former school in Pakistan opened up again and her old classmates and their parents prayed for Malala’s recovery (Rowell 97). People that prayed for her when she was not well was what kept her going in the tough
