Malala Yousafzia confronted restrictions of education fighting her own culture for the right to learn. Malala wished to continue attending school, in America the request appears simple, but in Taliban controlled Pakistan the notion of a girl going to school was absurd. Malala stood unshaken in her resolve defying rule even under the threat of death she continued to attend school. On October 9th 2012 Malala was walking home from school and a gunman shot her in the head. Miraculously Malala survived the savage attack returning more determined and stronger than expected.
