Malala Hero

Imagine you were judged by your gender or couldn’t go to school just because you were a girl. Well without Malala this would be true. Her dad worked at the school that she went to and Malala heard about girls at other schools getting hurt and controlled by the Taliban. Her father would get angry about this and it got her thinking what if it could change. I believe Malala Yousafzai classifies as a hero because she was persistent, caring, and an activist.

Malala was proven a hero when she was determined . She received death threats and bomb threats from the Taliban (www.biography.com). This shows that she was persistent and kept fighting. The Taliban destroyed a great number of girls schools which made everyone mad ,but most of the people were too scared to protest. Not Malala though she spoke out against the Taliban and started protests. Eventually she was put as a target by the Taliban this was because she disagreed when they tried to take away privileges

Not only Malala won a prize, but other people considered as heroes like Martin Luther King JR won the prize as well. Once she was discovered on the internet she set up a fund in her name (www.nobelpeaceprize.com). In just 8 days she made over 80 thousand dollars and Malala took that money and spent it to build schools for the girls who didn’t have schools to go to. The girls to this day have schools to go to because of Malala. She visits the schools and talks with the girls even while keeping up with her own school work. Once again, Malala is a hero because she kept going when things put her down, a good hearted and caring person, and a women's right to education advocate. Unfortunately not all girls in the world have the chance to go to school without being scared, but because of Malala a great number of girls can go to school worry free. That is why other people should follow in Malala footsteps so everyone can go to
