Malala Education In Afghanistan

One way Malala took a stand is fighting for girls education in afghanistan. In her article “Malala is hope”, Malala says, ”i'll tell him now how important education is and that i even want education for your children as well”(brown 73). In fact, her crusade for education rights seems to be getting stronger as the years pass. Also, on October 9, 2012, Malala spoke to the united nations,”they thought the bullets would silence us but they failed”. For example,Malala started noticing that women in her country were being suppressed because of their gender. However, education for girls was seen as privilege and she felt that was unfair. Eventually, on October 16, malala said, “i don't mind if i have to sit on the floor at school, all i want is education, and i am not afraid to have one”(Brown 77).
