Malachite green have many outbreak cases, for example the Centre for Food Safety (CFS) of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department found trace of malachite green in eel sample and Mayo Fish sample in 29th June, 2016 and May 2016 respectively. Although malachite green is carcinogenic, the concentration in seafood is very low. It only causes cancer when human intake malachite green for long time. Therefore, malachite green did not have intoxication case.
Malachite green can make some serious health problems. It leads poisoning, the symptoms include diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea, kidney and liver damage. If human consume malachite green for long time, cells will mutation and increase the cancer risk. Also, pregnant woman will
