During Romeo and Juliet’s time, parents controlled who their children should date. Today, things are much different. There is a constant debate between whether or not it should be a child’s choice or the parent’s choice. Parents should be able to control who their kid dates. Most teens are prone to accidents. They don’t think things through or make the right decisions. The National Geographic article, “The Adolescent mind” states that the brain is still growing and developing all through your teen years, which prevents kids from making good decisions and actually thinking through their problems.
