Making Bullying A Crime

Bullying has transformed to be a problem in the high schools with the victims undergoing emotional meltdown and even committing suicide. The bullies, on the other hand, have been on the rise and using every means to embarrass, assault, abuse and attack their victims. The presence of technology has worsened the situation given that the bullies use the social platform and the communication apps to spread hate speech or even suggestive and nude images of their victims. All these aspects illustrate the seriousness of the bullying acts and the need to make it a crime. In fact, making bullying a crime will scare some of the perpetrators since they will know that severe consequences will be awaiting them. Making bullying a crime will also save the victims from the emotional meltdown while the parents will no longer have to spend huge amounts of funds towards catering for the medical expenses and the medical costs. It will also reduce the number of suicide rates that arise from the increased rate of bullying. All in all, making bullying a crime will help the victims that are embarrassed and assaulted often by the bullies.
The bullying is known to cause some intense emotional meltdown since the victims can no longer handle the consequences. The emotional meltdown arises from the embarrassment and frustrations that will be evident since they will have to interact with people that know certain secrets about them. For instance, the bullying might be a result of the nude images or even the suggestive postures that are clearly inappropriate. More specifically, girls might feel ashamed and the stress might amount to their minds being in turmoil.
