I decided to do my project in makeup. Makeup is a really wide topic with so many different products and brands that I thought it would be perfect to show the periodic table. I think of makeup as being like art because of the different things you can do with it and the different designs that could make you look like another person. There are so many designs you can do and so many colors to try on, and so many looks; just like elements there are so many elements and just like make up each element has a different purpose and each product in makeup has a different purpose too. Makeup products and elements are related more than what people might actually think. In my project I decided to select five different items that are the most essential for any women that applies makeup on daily basis. It was really hard to figure out a way to organize the different items, and even now that everything is organized and ready to be graded I feel like the organization is not good enough. Also another difficulty was not reading very well the instructions and using foam core board instead of paper poster. It was hard to arrange the elements because some of them did not have the same which it makes it very difficult to know under which category they belong. This project overall is really complicated because there is so many different variable that can change your elements. However I learned a little more information about how complex is the organization of the periodic table and how it was probably hard for scientists to come up with all the atomic number, and the atomic mass. I would like to do another periodic table but a little better develop and to actually include all the information a periodic table has.
