After the scout ship departed Krypton it crash landed on a farm that belonged to Jonathan and Martha Kent. After no government official had shown up at their front door Jonathan and Martha decided to raise Kal as their own. In hopes of helping Kal lead a normal human life they named him Clark as well as decided to keep the manner in which he became their son a secret. As Clark began to grow older his abilities began to serifs and become uncontrollable. Any chances of normality for Clark faded once he began to experience random episodes in which he could not control his senses. This caused him to become an outcast amongst his peers leaving him with only his parents to cling to. During one of Clark’s episodes, that was particularly unordinary, only Martha could calm him. Clark as a teenager of caution began to lay down the foundations of the man he would grow to become. With the values of heroism dormant in his heart, one afternoon Clark sprang into action when his buss lost control and went off a bridge into a river. At the risk of revealing all his abilities Clark heaved the buss along with all the students in it out from the river bed. As a result of his act of courage the students’ parents were frightened about what they heard he could do. Convincingly Jonathan and Martha explained that it is impossible for a teenager to do such a thing.
