Risks of signing Kristaps Porzingis: The risk for every professional athlete is the risk of injury. There have been great athletes in many different sports, whose careers have been cut short due to injuries. For example, Bo Jackson’s career was cut short due to a hip injury. Injuries are apart of every sport and sometimes cannot be prevented. Even though there is not hitting in the NBA, there is still the possibility of getting hurt. There is no way to guarantee that Porzingis will never get hurt while playing in the NBA. However, that does not mean he is not profitable if he were to ever obtain a career ending injury. Therefore, he has many connections throughout the entertainment industry. However, there is as a potential risk of Jay-Z being the face of the organization. What happens to the reputation of Roc Nation if Jay-Z gets into trouble? Do the athletes get a bad reputation for being signed by Roc Nation? Roc Nation has no control over what Jay-Z does with his personal life. However, the company is more than just Jay-Z.
