Major Leadership Theories

In today’s contemporary literature, there are wide varieties of major leadership theories and models found, that have been deemed substantially understandable. Among the multitude of recognized examples are: Charismatic, Transformational, and Visionary Theory, Transactional, Leader-Member Exchange Theory, Normative and Behavioral Decision Theory, Fiedler’s Theory and Contingency Model. However, this paper will exclusively address six that have been intensely examined, studied and surveyed. The purpose of this research paper is to identify with an understanding and clarity, the distinctions and similarities between Biblical concepts and principles of major leadership models and theories, used in organizations.
