Depression is a huge and well known Mental health problem. According to the NIMH 6.9 percent of the world's population struggles with this disease. There are not only different types of depression but also different causes and symptoms to it. There are different treatments for this disease.
There are many different types of depression somee ranging to less severe to high risk severity. A high risk depression is called major depression. This is one of the many severe depression. Most common way to spot it is if you are severely depressed throughout the week. Your doctor many diagnose you if you feel like you have any of the following symptoms for five days out of the week or more. Some of these symptoms associated with this disease is; lost

Such as the hormone levels which help to balance the natural chemicals you body produces may be of. Making a shortage of a chemical you may need to balance your emotions. Oftentimes blood work will be done to determine what chemical your body needs and you will be given meddiction. Traumatic event can trigger a depression event. These event maybe Rape, lost of a love one or a a family matter such as divorce. Sometimes a simple break up can cause a depressive episode. Anxiety is also a leading factor in a depressive state as it can leave you feeling isolated and alone. Stressful situations can oftentimes leave you feeling lonely and feeling helpless this can oftentimes trigger you to have depression episode as you feel like you are not good enough and no one wants you around. A physical injury from a sport you love or an activity may leave you unable to do the things you enjoy in life for a monetary period or depending on how bad it maybe it might mean you can never do it again. This often times will be difficult to overcome but there are many ways to do something or something similar that you may be able to enjoy. Poor social skills may cause depression in young adults as often times they feel like they are unable to communicate with their peers. In every age group bullying is a major risk to depression. Sometimes therapy alone may be enough to treat depression without any medicine. However, sometimes only mediceance will be needed to help balance. In most severe cases both are needed to help treat this disease. However this isn't a disease where you take one pill or therapy session and all the sudden your cured. Depression may always be there or it will slowly dissipate over time. But there are treatments to help a person through depression and guide them on how to deal with it so that it doesn't lead to severe outcomes. Treatments include counseling. This may include individual, couple or family. This is a controlled environment where you can talk and discuss how you feel and how or why you feel it, As well as to find solutions and come up with a plan to fix it. Seek mental health help. If you are feeling depressed it could be just an episode that therapy may help however it could be more than that. If think suicidal thoughts there are medical hotline how ever go in to the ER. They will fucilate you tell you are stable enough. They will run tests and see if its genetic and give you medicine. Even if it’s not it is your safest option. Suicidal thoughts should never be taken
