Depression affects every aspect of a teen’s life. An illness involving mood, thoughts, and body. Not only affect everyday activities, but it causes pain with the person struggling and also the people around them that love them (Depressive Disorders). Depression is not just a mood that sets in. people with depression can not just “get better” it takes time to really feel better. Being a common illness, it still needs to be taken seriously. Treatments are available but if not treated the symptoms do not just go away (Depressive Disorders).
