A milestone in my life was my first job, it taught me a lot of things, mostly the value of managing my time. With all my AP classes, sports, clubs and work I was able to look at my schedule and come up with the time to complete all of these tasks all while maintaining my high gpa. Working 25-28 hours per week, I learned the value of time and money. The quote “Time is money” never had a deep meaning to me until I started making hourly wage at $8.75 per hour in Friendly’s. It taught me how valuable my time is, not only for my job, but also for family, friends, and obviously school.
