‘The importance of maintain dignity within healthcare’
The aim of the assignment is to reflect on an event in clinical practice where dignity of a patient was maintained.
During this essay, confidentiality will be kept of all patient names, hospital names and staff names, which is a very important part of nursing as a profession and the Nursing and midwifery council code of conduct. The NMC (2015) states that it is a very important part as a registered nurse to maintain confidentiality always. Any names that I use during this essay will be fake names.
During this reflective essay of my event that I experienced in practice, I will be writing in the first person. Dewey (1933) suggests that writing in the first person is good for preoccupation
