Every year on the Maine Lobster Festival, people cooked lobsters in various ways. However, considering lobsters are suffered from the process, the author felt uncomfortable and raised several results of researches to appeal to people for stopping lobster festival. First,the author emphasized that it is not only the thing that lobstered are boiled alive, it is that people boiled them on their own. Second, the author reckoned the other way to kill lobsters——to kill them with a knife in the mid-point of the eye stalks, is more bloody and merciful.
