"Economic growth without social progress lets the great majority of people remain in poverty". The major cause of poverty is unstable economy, which means if the economy is low, it will impact every aspect of the poor people living in the country. In addition, the three effects of unstable economy are low wages, high unemployment, and low education and skills. However, the main effect of poverty is poor health, which, has three causes; disease in the community, people living their life at risk, and not having money for medical help. Additionally, high unemployment rate will influence the economy from growing which implies if the economy stopped from growing it will affect the environment and the estimated poverty will increase in the country. …show more content…
One of the effects of unstable economy is low wages, which is, workers are working full time, but getting less money and that will harm the employers because they won 't afford the healthy life and the bills that they should pay. Also, not only the employers are getting affected by low wages, but the producers are getting impacted too, because, workers will have less money to buy the producers products and that will harm the producers from selling their product. Not only does low wages affect economy, but the high unemployment rate is another issue. A high unemployment rate will cause Americans to lower the spending which hurts the economy because no money is going into the products that was once a demand. Even though, Americans have a need for items they are now limited on what they can buy, which causes excess supplies. Moreover, it also affects the poor because they can 't get a job because of their lack clothes and lack of hygiene. The last impact is low education and skills which is also another point to affect the economic system. Additionally, low education and skills implies that employers are undergraduate or never attended school to get a job that pays them enough so they afford paying their bill. The three issues of poor health are people causing the disease to spread in the community they 're living in, putting their life in danger because of the untreatable diseases, and not affording to pay for medical help. Poor health is the worst issue that poor living people have to go through, the community that poor people live in might be overcrowded because it might cause the disease to spread along in the place and others will get infected as well. Poor living people might struggle through the untreatable conditions, which will put their life at risk. If the disease wasn’t treated well, many people will lose their life and that will cause more poverty in the country because the economic growth rate will decrease which will increase the rate of poverty. Poor living people with such a diseases are struggling to afford enough money for medical help, people have left their education and started working In order to have enough money not only for themselves but for their family and children 's.
