Magnetic therapy or magnet healing is a type of alternative medicine that have magnetic fields that generates healing powers towards a large number of diseases or conditions. These electromagnetic fields have been demonstrated to treat slow-healing fractures in the body and have shown good results towards to a few conditions. The website that has claimed to use this magnetic therapy are Skepdic.com. The claim that this complementary and alternative medicine practitioner is making goes by the name of Maximillian Hell. Maximillian is a Jesuit priest and healer. He claimed to have used a magnetic steel plate and cured people with it. Anton Mesmer, the person who discovered about Maximillian Hell, found out his therapy had worked because it had satisfied many customers who went to Fr. Hell for the treatment. Anton had plagiarized his magnetic theory and claimed it does work because the human body has very precise magnetic fluid flowing through us.
