For the last two decades, Magnet hospitals have exceled at attracting and retaining the best nursing talent in the field. Within these institutions, nurse leaders play a key role in supporting a work environment that fosters excellence. In the United States, there only 8.28-percent of all hospitals have earned this esteem recognition, representing 461 facilities in total.
