Maeonia is a unicorn who lives on the East side of the rainbow. That side is like a city side. It is very busy there. Everyone has very important unicorn duties there. Maeonia is very different compared to the other unicorns that live there. She likes to explore and look at the beauties of nature around her. While the other unicorns are too busy to even look at the rainbow that is always around their city. One day Maeonia leaves to go look at the new blooming flowers since Spring just arrived. She followed the flower buds all away across other side of the rainbow.
When Maeonia arrived at the other side of the rainbow she saw that the lands were not the same as the city she lived in. Instead she saw many farm lands. The West side of the rainbow was the home of the unicorns who lived in the country. On her way of walking through the town she saw another unicorn looking

After that they did everything they could together. Maeonia would come to the West side of the rainbow and Phileas would go to the East side of the rainbow to spend time together. They would always be together in secret because it is against the unicorn laws to love another unicorn from the other side of the rainbow. Although, Maeonia’s parents were starting to notice that she was leaving all of the time. So they sent Maeonia’s younger sister (Periboea) to follow Maeonia and where she goes. Periboea watched Maeonia go to the other side of the rainbow and meet up with Phileas.
Periboea knew she had to report what she saw Maeonia doing. So Periboea went back to her parents. As soon as they knew they were furious with Maeonia. When Maeonia came back they told Maeonia that she must never see Phileas again. Phileas lives on the wrong side of the rainbow to love. Maeonia sobbed for hours that she could no longer see her love anymore because it was against the unicorn laws. She told herself that she would see him one more time to tell him the tragic
