Madison Sauter:
The thing that I remembered most about her interview was her mentioning how she was a team oriented person. I think that the inclusion of this quality helps to support her story and add diversity to her skills. Additionally, it shows the interviewer that she has a interest in the satisfaction of her co-workers. This is important because she displays a need to create the best and most efficient environment for herself and her co-workers. Therefore, I think that this inclusion adds a nice personal touch and helps to further support her story on how she successfully created a solution.

I noticed that throughout the entire response she was able to hold very friendly and confident eye contact with the interviewer. Additionally, she had effective hand movements that made her seem more personable and relatable. Sometimes hand motions can be distracting from a story but I think that Michelle’s body language added to her response. You could clearly tell she was interested in explaining her story to the best of her abilities. Overall, I think that Michelle’s body language was the most memorable part of her response. From the story, I think that Michelle helped communicate with a supplier that due to law changes their company would need to ship out certain supplies at a different date. I think that overall the story was a little hard to follow. She seemed to get lost in her thoughts and would go back and forth between different details. This made the explanation very confusing and hard to understand. Aside from this, I think that what was reflected in her story was her communication skills that were used while interacting with the supplier. Communication skills are something that are necessary in any job environment and are crucial for creating strong work relationships. This skill can easily be applied to other jobs and will make Michelle a good candidate for potential

On the other hand, she did make me feel like I was being heard, she never once broke her eye contact with me and somewhat expanded on the questions she originally asked; Also she made it quite easy for me…

The Mind at Work, written by Mike Rose is a story about day-to-day jobs that people partake in for a living, his main purpose of this story was to make people aware of the need to take notice of forms of intelligence that have not been tested through IQ tests and bring various things together like how the brain and hand can not be separated, they work dynamically. In this essay, I will go over the key points that I thought Rose wanted his readers to understand also, what I disagree with and agree with and also how the hand and brain work together. I found that the first couple of chapters in the book went over the key points rather than the last couple of chapters, Rose explains that all work has some sort of skill required to do the job…
