Madagascar Research Paper

Madagascar is an Island located off the coast of Mozambique, in the Indian Ocean. Its native language is French. It is home to 90% of its own unique wildlife. (http://www.worldtravelguide.net/madagascar) Madagascar has two seasons: dry and wet. The dry season which, is cool and dry is during the months of May to October. While, the wet season which, is hot and rainy is during the months of November to April. Depending on where you are in Madagascar also plays a role in the climate. Each Region, the Highlands, The South, The North, The East and The West, have their own distinct climates as well. These climates bring mosquitos to the area so, I would be sure to bring protection against them. Malaria is a risk throughout the year and is highest on the coast. Malarial mosquitos are most active at dusk and daybreak so, I would be sure to wear long pants and sweatshirts at these times to cover up and use bugs spray as well. I would also be sure to bring a mosquito net for protection while I sleep so, I don’t get bitten at night. (travelmadagascar.org)
Before I got to Madagascar, I would need to brush up on some commonly used French phrases and buy a French pocket translation dictionary. One that I could carry in my backpack daily. I would also need to

That is where the major airport is. In order for me to travel to this destination, it takes 24 hours and 2 planes. And, I can’t forget my passport and visa. Seeing that it takes 2 full days of travel time, I would be sure to leave on a Saturday and come back on a Sunday, in order to get a full 7 days of exploration. Leaving Cape Cod, I would have to drive to the New York JFK International Airport. Once, I got there I would get on a plane to Nairobi, Africa and there I would take an air Kenya flight to Antananarivo. After a whole day of traveling, I would check myself into a hotel in Antananarivo. To travel to all the different places each day, I will take a bus from this
