Mad Max: Fury Road is an Academy award winning movie. With its practical effects and stunning location, it no wonder that George Miller’s movie has turned into a cult classic so quickly. But this movie is more than the sublime story and alluring acting. It’s a dystopian society that deserves further analysis. This movie has the basic of a dystopian society; the theme of survival, A “Big Brother” with a set of psychotic rules, and a promise of a better place. The movie has one overlaying theme; survival. People just trying to get by without getting murdered or eaten. Max (played by Tom Hardy,source: IMDB)is trying to just get by when he gets taken by these crazy people.
