Interviewing two subjects with different backgrounds was my part in this larger class project. I choose to interview a boy and a girl from the same age but different backgrounds in order to understand how microevolution works between them. I choose to interview a girl from my class that is also in my age group and the boy is a close relative and friend who is also the same age, I wanted to interview him because we share similar beliefs. In this interview I will determine how they acquired their knowledge from 3 different domains: Religion, Climate change, and illness. At the end I will test the accuracy of the illness part to see if they will pass on to their friends/family/kids accurate information or not.

When I asked this question he answered right away without doubt, same for religion which he described himself as a baptized Christian. He hasn’t changed his beliefs over time because he was raised into a christen family where he got his beliefs from his parents who have the biggest impact on his beliefs. He said that because the whole family is religious and when he got older his eyes opened up and Christ is the one that he will follow till death, that all his family share that means that he will support and having this large group experience will very strongly influence his beliefs.
Climate Change: Oblique
He grew up in eastern Europe so he believes that climate change is a minor problem and that motor vehicles cause most climate change like V12 Mercedes engines from human activity. And his parents who lived most of their lives outside the US share the belief that climate change isn’t that serious. He did say that the most information about climate change that he learned is from the internet and school, it is never brought up at home. He said as soon as he drove a nice car with a big engine that people do it all the time and the environment is unchanged so that made him decide that climate change really isn’t serious.
