Apple inc. is not only affected by the internal environment but is also affected by the external environment. The two most prominent aspects of macroeconomic environment affecting the company up to date are the economic and technological factors.

Economic factors represent the wider economy so it may include economic growth rates, costs of raw materials, money related strategies and so on (Oxlearn.com, 2015). For an example, the purchasing power depends on the world’s economic conditions. According to the past few years, unemployment rate has increased in many countries causing the decrease in the sales of Apple products. Consumer Behavior Analysis

Consumer buyer behavior can be defined as the buying behavior of final consumers (those who buy goods and services for personal consumption. The four major factors that influence consumer buyer behavior can be divided into culture, social factors, personal characteristics and psychological factors. However, in this case, the two most prominent factors influencing the buying behavior for the Apple Smartphone are cultural factors and personal characteristics. Cultural factors can be further divided into culture, subculture and social classes. Social classes are society’s relatively permanent and orders divisions whose members share similar values, interests and behaviors. These said classes can be measured as a combination of occupation, income, education, wealth and other variables. The major classes consist of upper class, middle class, working class and lower class. How do these classes relate back to the buying behavior of consumers of an Apple Smartphone? For an example, the way people of the upper class and lower class perceive about purchasing an Apple Smartphone varies. A consumer from the lower class will be more focused on the price of the product while a shopper from the upper class will be more attracted to elements such as value, advancement, highlights or even the social benefit that can be obtained from the product. For now, let us look into how personality affects the buying behavior of consumers for the Apple Smartphone. Personality can be defined as a set of traits and specific characteristics of each individual.
