At the mezzo level interventions involves the local community and those working with the victims. Mezzo level involves focusing on changing a whole group or organization. The social worker must get the dialog about child sexual started and get the community involved. Macro level social work includes administrative practice, community practice and policy practice. Implications to consider when working with children affected by sexual abuse and childhood trauma comprises developing needed resources to benefit victims of childhood sexual abuse and childhood trauma, program evaluation, macro-level advocacy that involve legislative advocacy, and taking legal action regarding childhood sexual abuse and childhood trauma.

What hit home for me was the Dr. Christian acknowledging that there is a difference between a child abuse pediatrician and a regular pediatrician due to the challenges of outside
