Macro client system- “The macro client system includes those people who will ultimately benefit from the change process, typically a particular client population having similar characteristics and receiving similar agency services. In addition, a macro client system can also be an entire community or agency that benefits from the change” (Kirst-Ashman & Hull, 2015, p.205-206). In this case scenario Eduardo and all the population at the adult daycare center would be considered the client system because they have similar characteristics and are receiving similar agency services. However, this macro client system could include the agency if changes occur because the social worker …show more content…
As a result, the social worker does have a couple of colleagues that agree about the situation, however, it will take much more support to make changes. However, in the text it states “that an agency may not initially believe that it needs to change, but the goal is ultimately designed to improve services provided to its own clients” (Kirst-Ashman & Hull, 2015, p.205).
Who could be part of the action system and why? As a result, I feel the social systems and social structural perspectives might be a good fit because they are closest to the situation.
Social Structural Theory- “This theory focuses on understanding how these various subsystems affect the individual and the group. Attention is directed to how some social structures (systems) empower clients and others alienate
