In 2014, Heather Mack murdered her mother in Bali, Indonesia. She and her boyfriend, Tommy Schaefer, were sent to prison in 2015, because it was thought that it was both their fault. However, recently Mack posted online that it was her fault and her fault only. On both her phone and Schaefer’s there were text messages about killing Mack’s mother, but Mack now claims that she was doing the texting by herself. She took his phone and texted herself. She says that she asked Schaefer to help her find someone who could murder her mother, and in return she would give him $50,000!
