In 1995, Jorge Luis Machuca Gonzales saw an advertisement about Chrysler LHS. He interested, so he decided to visit the car dealership and convinced that the car was perfectly in high quality and totally safe. Therefore, Gonzales purchased the car after returning to Mexico. In the next year, Gonzales’s wife had an accident in Texas and this triggered the passenger-side air bag. The force of the air bag instantaneously killed Pablo, Gonzales’s 3 years old son. This event triggered Gonzales to brought a suit to Texas municipal court against Chrysler (manufacturer of the car), TRW Inc and TRW Vehicle Safety Systems (designer of airbag’s sensor), and Morton International Inc (Designer of the airbag).
