As a network administrator for a small company with 10 members in the sales group, that all own laptops, I would implement a policy that required staff to bring their laptop to work with them. I would inform employees that is it a BYOD (or Bring Your Own Device) work place. Employees brining their own devices to work would keep costs down and give the employees more freedom and leisure. By implementing the BYOD policy in the work place, employees are more likely to have their laptop with them because it feels more natural than carrying around a second device they are not used to having. Bringing your own device can also be risky for the employee and the company.…

Apple’s 1984 has proven timeless in its visual appeal. The striking use of color and lack thereof, does a beautiful job of differentiating the oppressors and the oppressed in cold grayish blues from the courageous heroin, raging against the system, in vivid red and white. The ability of the establishing shots and close ups to capture a dystopian world and its sickly looking population, ranting tyrant, and technicolored heroin, appealed to the viewers’ instinctive interest in the human factor when it first aired and continues to resonate with me more than thirty years later. While the multi-colored Apple logo set against a black background is simple, it is a powerful final visual, made memorable by continuing in the same vein of high contrast…

The Dell Theory of conflict prevention introduces a massive industry of supply chains working together. Friedman’s theory starts off with introducing how the world works together and shows us how an entire global supply chain produces his Dell notebook. Limitations to the dell theory are mutant supply chains where destruction is unavoidable, and the fact that world conflict has turned more into wars between groups vs. nations rather than…
