Doing Wrong For Yourself It is not right to perform a wrongdoing to obtain satisfaction for yourself. One should always consider the outcomes and benefits when it comes to a situation as so. Also, how the outcome affects others should especially be considered. The only time a misdeed should be performed is when it benefits others and ultimately comes to a satisfactory ending for more than one individual. In the case of Macbeth, several individuals were brutally murdered because of Macbeth himself. It can be believed that Macbeth murdered those individuals because he felt that they were not appropriate rulers. However, Macbeth killed several people because he wanted to be king (Shakespeare). …show more content…
In the occurrence where one individual wants out of a relationship, they can simply lie to create distance between the two (Beck). “… lying diminishes trust between human beings… (“Lying”).” Although one can diminish the trust with another individual that they do no fancy, they also taper the trust with others (“Lying”). Telling lies will corrupt the liar, meaning that that specific individual will become more comfortable with telling misinformation that they will tell it without realizing it (“Lying”). A common misdoing is speeding. Many people believe that they do not need to follow the speed limit and feel that they can go above it to get to their destination quicker. About two thirds of all drivers will exceed the speed limit every day (Parker-Pope). People do not realize how dangerous driving above the speed limit can be. If one driver is coming into oncoming traffic and the other is far above the speed limit, it will be nearly impossible to stop in time before coming into a collision.
For most drivers, a “safe” speed is typically just beyond the point where they believe they are at risk for getting a ticket. That means that motorists who believe they won’t get a ticket until they go 10 m.p.h. above the speed limit are 27 percent more likely to drive up to 20 m.p.h. above the speed limit
