Imagine someone being so difficult to comprehend, you begin to think that you can identify them and you can entirely predict their next move, but consistently, you turn out completely mistaken and the further disappointment you face, the further you realize you don’t even recognize the person. That perfectly describes Macbeth. Macbeth is the protagonist of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The character is based on the historical king, Macbeth of Scotland. Macbeth is a Scottish noble and a bold military man. After a supernatural prophecy, he decides to murder Duncan and becomes King of Scotland. Presenting open-mindedness is significant throughout the play so far because it us observe he is a character that is willing to seek the best advice from someone and not only go by his opinion. Likewise, with him being indecisive it shows that he has power within himself to make sure that he wants to complete an action that he cannot go back on. Lastly and most importantly, it is important that he portrays he is ambitious, it allows us to tie that in with bravery, bravery is vital in every person, it demonstrates how he is capable of staying true to himself and does something when he says he is going to do it. As we combine all these attributes to his personality, we can reflect on how he is showing us some of his true colors, this obviously allows us to try to figure out what kind of person he truly is. In addition, it provides us with the partial knowledge of figuring how he may react towards certain people by the way that he displays different attributes to people.
