Many things have gone on in act one of Macbeth. Some good things and also a lot of bad things have gone on. Duncan is the king of Scotland. His language is formal and his speeches are full of grace. He is the representative of God on earth. Duncan has many strengths and weaknesses for himself. Some of his strengths are he is generous and sensitive. A weakness he has is he is too wimpy to be a king. Duncan is also a very trusted person. Duncan seems to be a very kind hearted person that just too nice to be a king and rule Scotland. He may be a warrior but he is not great at what he does. Macbeth calls Duncan a humble and uncorrupt leader. He feels that Duncan’s virtues will live after he is dead.
