I don’t remember the way there. I was so excited for now I knew I would be able to be closer to the new king and his queen. I would have never imagined being so honored to be present at the feast where the mighty hero Macbeth and his noble lady are. Walking inside I was astonished by the height of the walls and windows, the affluence of the ornaments, the multitude of candles glimmering from every side and the splendor of the clothing of the quests. I was so amazed at everything I even forgot my own uneasiness that I did not belong, that I was here just by an unforeseeable chance.

They all returned to their feast. But a glimpse of something in her eyes caught my attention this time. This gentle, noble woman seemed as well to be possessed. As if hell’s flames came flashing through her sight as she turned to Macbeth. And there I saw a conversation take place. I could only hear some words, but later I understood how if I had known the secrets of this place they would have made much more sense.
- I see him … blood … die … dead – Macbeth said.
- Nonsense … foolishness … - was her reply.

People around me seemed to think the king had a glass too many.
And then I felt a strong gust of air. Half the candles’ flames were blown away. The king started shouting at his seat, then turned to the side and whispered to himself and then as sudden as before he faced the crowd and smiled.
- I am a man! I am a man

The man was wearing robes and bruised leather boots and a metal breastplate awkwardly sat on top of his torso, a sword in its sheath by his side. His hand rested on the hilt of it, as if these pretenders were a threat to him. He had the look of a respectful knight; his eyes were icy blue, vicious and cold and told stories of hatred and hurt. Macbeth glanced back to the table.…
