After Macbeth killed the Thane of Cawdor, Duncan appointed Macbeth the new Thane of Cawdor. After being persuaded by his wife, Macbeth then killed Duncan. If Duncan was more cautious of Macbeth he would still be alive and the majority of the characters would not need to die. Although being trustful of people is a positive trait, in this circumstance it’s a flaw. Duncan did not deserve his fate. Macbeth thinks he is invincible because the Weird Sisters told him in a vision. He trusts the witches because every time they have made a prediction it would come to pass. Besides the witches, Lady Macbeth has extensive influence over Macbeth. Lady Macbeth manipulates Macbeth into killing Duncan and many others to fallow. It’s as if Macbeth is Lady Macbeth’s puppet that she uses to accomplish her means. Although Macbeth is manipulated into murder, he deserved his demise. This entire scenario could have been avoided if he didn’t listen to his
