BANQUO: (Calm) what a dark and gloomy night. Even the moon with all its might can’t pierce these ominous clouds that cast such a sinister shadow on Scotland. With Macbeth, having taken the reigns being the noble man he is the kingdom should have only bright nights and happy days to celebrate his throne but it is not so. Perhaps this is just a natural reaction to the chaos that has occurred in these last few days. This haunting feeling could even be the land mourning the loss of King Duncan (sad) or just Duncan I guess.
How could his guards be so callous to murder such a great man in his sleep? What do they have to gain from slaughtering Duncan? Surely, surely, they would know such actions can only lead to the detachment …show more content…
Macbeth has been… Different. I can’t explain it, but the feeling grows stronger every day. (angry at himself) NO! How could I think so low of a man who has shown nothing but courage and honor. No man of his integrity could be overtaken be such frivolous things as greed, how dare such thoughts cross my mind. Noble Macbeth, that is how he is known throughout Scotland how could someone with such a reputation threaten his very character by being seduced by the likely hollow words of three weirdos. Not Macbeth that is for sure. The ominous darkness that looms ahead of my trail is caused the grievance of our former king not the dismay at a pore new king. Is this what happened to Macbeth? Perhaps unlike myself he could not snap out of the euphoric feeling of a bright future. Instead the Devils greed which hides in such a trans took him down a dark path that could lead only to his demise. It may be the case that all the weird sister’s words are bound to come to fruition. (sad) If it is so, then my dream of the sisters must be also. They showed me a vision of a king who would be driven mad by his actions in the past and his knowledge of the future, this mad king went on to slaughter his close friends and entire families until a vengeful man of unnatural birth ended his short
