Macbeth’s blind ambition to be king consumed him, which resulted him in committing immoral acts, such as the compulsion that he possesses leads him in killing his comrades as well as betraying himself. The dagger vision symbolizes foreshadows a weapon of death and contemplating whether or not to go through murdering Duncan, Macbeth is between ambition and guilt, but he decides to kill Duncan regardless of the guilt he carries around. By committing this act it made him carry a lifetime of baggage and the decisions he makes are out of fear. Macbeth continues to kill innocent people, when Macbeth found out that Banquo’s son, Fleance, is going to be the descendant, as well as, Banquo and Fleance did nothing and letting Macbeth do all the dirty work for them. Macbeth does not want anyone to benefit from this process except for Lady Macbeth and himself, so he decides to hire murderers to kill both Banquo and Fleance the paranoia that he possesses forces him to kill more innocent people, he cannot stop killing the innocent, once he starts he can never stop. As well as, when he heard the three apparitions, he felt confident that he can rest easy, but deep inside he was paranoid and insecure. He had an urge to kill Macduff’s family to threaten him to not go against, in fact by murdering Macduff’s family he did the opposite he will not back off, he will fight Macbeth until he gets his
