In the past couple of scenes we have seen many things in this play. First is as we all know
Caesar was killed by the conspirators. Also at the funeral Brutus gave a speech saying that they
killed Caesar for the good of Rome. He said Caesar was too ambitious and that’s why they killed
him. Antony also gave a speech, but said that Caesar wasn’t too ambitious and listed his reasons.
The crowd believed Antony more than they believed Brutus. Therefore now the crowd wants all
the conspirators killed. What is the fate of Antony, Octavius, Brutus, and Cassius?
Well in the second scene of act IV we see that there is a talk between Antony and

He leaves Brutus and apologizes to him for the
argument and understands why he was mad because of his wife.
After all these summaries of what has happened to each person there lies the big question.
What will be the fate of these characters and Rome? Who will when the war? Will Antony and
Octavius or Brutus and Cassius? What will be the fate of Rome if either of them wins? All of
these questions will be answered in the following paragraphs according to the evidence we have
from the previous scenes.
If Octavius wins he will probably rule Rome good. But one of the problems might be is
that he is a military leader. So he will probably rule them the same way he rules the military
which will be really hard and strict on them. This might cause uproar in Rome because of how
strict he is. Also he will be good because we learn in act IV that he killed 100 senators to purify
Rome. So he will keep Rome purified from bad people in office.
If Antony becomes the ruler of Rome he will probably be like Caesar. He will rule Rome
like him because of how much he loved him and his accomplishments. He always talked good
about Caesar, and during his funeral he talked about how he was a good leader and kind. He
