Mac Brazel's Mistake In Roswell, New Mexico

Improved Essays
In 1947, Mac Brazel discovered an unidentified object in his pasture in Roswell, New Mexico. Officials from the Roswell Air Force base said the crashed was a weather balloon. And here are the reasons why this is true.
The first reason why is because of the faulty interviews. There were hundreds of witnesses that were questioned. And most of them were either secondhand or were false witnesses. Also, the interviews were conducted 40 years after the incident occurred. In result, most of the witnesses couldn’t remember the crash as clear as before. For example the main witness, Major Jesse Marcel, couldn’t even remember the month before the interview. Along with that Marcel was known to have a tendency to over-exaggerate. Marcel said he personally

The second witness was a man in his early 40’s who claimed to have seen a yellow sports car come to a complete stop then purposely hit the young lady as she was trying to cross the street. Once again just like the first witness the statement was not too helpful. The only thing I knew so far was that there was a yellow car involved, but there has yet to be a description as to the model and owner. The third witness was no help to the case they came to my office claiming that they wanted an award for being there, but I still had to write this down because it is part of the procedure. The last witness was the neighbor of Myrtle Wilson she claimed that Myrtle was having an affair with someone from the East egg, the vehicle was a yellow sports car owned by a man known as Gatsby, and that she ran in front of the vehicle thinking it was the man she was having an affair with.…

The Beagle-2 project was a project that was designed to go to the planet Mars. It had been sent off and was supposed to take six days to get to Mars. The Beagle-2 had landed but did not give any signal back to Earth saying that it had landed, but that was only because it had lost signal with the solars that provide the spacecrafts signal to send a signal back to earth saying that it has landed. Scientists ended up finding out the beagle-2 had landed by looking at the cameras that are located on or near the planet Mars. They closely examined the pieces of the beagle-2 by printing out a picture from the live footage they were viewing and they made the conclusion that those were the pieces of the beagle-2 which meant that the beagle-2 had landed…

On November 12, 1966, five men who were digging a grave at a cemetery near Clendenin, West Virginia, claimed to see a man-like figure fly low from the trees over their heads.[5] This is often identified as the first known sighting of what became known as the Mothman. Shortly thereafter, on November 15, 1966, two young couples from Point Pleasant, Roger and Linda Scarberry and Steve and Mary Mallette, told police they saw a large grey creature whose eyes "glowed red" when the car headlights picked it up. They described it as a "large flying man with ten-foot wings", following their car while they were driving in an area outside of town known as "the TNT area", the site of a former World War II munitions plant.[6][7] During the next few days,…
