Ma Bessie Monologue

Many times in adulthood I woud try and forget some of the miserable pictures saved in my brain, but that is a whole task on its own.
There were many atrocities with my siblings and mom, but I will wait for them to talk about it in due time. I see another picture in my mind; a picture of us; 4 siblings sitting in front of a closed cream colored door. Banging with tiny fists on the door. Now we are little not yet of school age.
We are crying hysterical whilst our parents are arguing and yelling at one another. Ma Bessie was hanging out with a guy again, when Pa Zoon was at work. Today at the end of their lives it still an unclear message Pa Zoon said he only slapped Ma Bessie once and Ma Bessie states that Pa Zoon slapped her multiple times. We did not see the abuse we only over heard it. Pa Zoon would state that Ma Bessie had multiple boyfriend’s right through out their first few eyars of marriage. It is very diffycult to write abot the elemtns of your life that is why it can never go without some imagination and the fill in of the blan areas.

He was selling stuff for less than they paid for it. When Ver-Ouma Blouvoete returned after the 6 babies’ birth it was too late, she found everything in a mess. She realized they would have to close the stores doors. She tried to save a few things from Ver-Oupa Bittergal that was just selling stuff left and right. Early in the morning when Ver-Oupa Bittergal was sleeping late she got up and went about her business trying to save what ever she could. She let Pa Zoon and his siblings run stuff over to the neigbours to hide it for save keeping. After this catastrpohehic event Ver-Ouma Blouvoete took her six children and went to live with Oom Pyp and his wife. She stayed there until she saved up enough to rent a one bedroom apartment for her and her six
