Ma And Atticus Comparison Essay

“To kill a Mockingbird” and “Girl in Translation” are one of those books that almost everyone reads at some point through out their lives. Whether student have been forced to read them at school or they had a look because everyone urging them to, most of the people have their own experience of reading To kill a mockingbird and Girl in Translation. In the both books there are two major characters that inspired me. The characters are Ma and Atticus who overcame there problems and led there children on the right path to success. Atticus and Ma appears as an unconventional heroes and role model due to their molarity and due to to their physical capabilities. I want them to be my parents because they both persistent and their bravery can inspires people around the world to be educated and stay equally, and also follow our dreams even though we have to face a lot of problem to …show more content…
Atticus had to deal with a lot of criticism from the town of Maycomb when he chose to defend Tom Robinson. A lot of people criticized Atticus even members of the town who respected him and had known him from long time, such as Miss Stephanie and Mrs. Dubose. However, he lived in Maycomb for a long time and had a numbers of friends, and some these friends such as Mr. Underwood and Miss. Maudie close to support even though they may not have agreed with his actions. Maycomb is very small town and everyone knows Atticus and he ultimately has the support of the community for his courage and his handling of the situation, even many disagree with him. On other hand, Ma is new in the town and she doesn't know anybody. She is very afraid of new people in new community. She doesn't go out from her house too meet with new people. The reason she doesn't got out or communicate with people is that she doesn't speak English and acrid to be involve in trouble because of lack of
