M2:- Justify the software, tools, file format, image resolution and colour depth used for creating graphic images
Introduction: - in this task I will justify the tools file format and many more things. Also, I will discuss the impact that file format, compression techniques, and some other things. Also, I will explain why I have chosen that tools and file format and how it helped me to create my posters.

Software
I have used Photoshop software to create my posters. I have created four posters in the Photoshop. I chose this software because of the wide usefulness and convenience. In the PS I can add many layers as many I would like to add. And by using the layer, I can able to include different pictures on the other picture and also I can write the

But I think I have used 2400 by 1213. I have used same Image Resolution for all poster. So when I have to print my poster I might not need to change my poster Image Resolution.
I have tried to create the same picture in different image resolution and I got the high quality picture. So I have tried three times and each time change the image resolution. Every time I got the same file so I have done the high quality poster and I have saved a high quality picture, my picture is looks like HD picture.

Colour depth
To edit my poster I have used a 24-bit colour palette for a high quantity of element. This is supported by the chosen JPEG file format. By using this bit of colour, the poster had rich colours that are shown very colourful even after changing the image size.
Colour depth is the rule of how many colours are able to be used in an image. High colour depth images are rich with colour and, therefore, high in detail, but low colour depth images include fewer colours and are less in depth. The most common colour depths are 8, 16, 24, and 32 bit, while 32 is becoming the common standard.

This picture is black and white of young boy called Flavio, feeding rice to his younger brother Zacarias. My first impression of Flavio’s archive was that it seemed to be a very sad story. This photo shows the horrors of poverty and Flavio’s strength to survive, and even the courage to accept death without even thinking about himself but of his brothers and sisters. I did some research and found out that Flavio is a 12-year-old boy who has the huge responsibility of being an adult. He is able to accept this responsibility while still remaining vibrant and hopeful even though Flavio is suffering from a physical illness, poverty, overwork and worry.…

While reading Hito Steyerl’s In Defense of the Poor Image, I believe that Steyerl is arguing that even though a low quality/resolution image appears to the mass majority, we are still able to process what the image is. It might have lost its details, however, this is the easiest way for most to access the image, which is by receiving a low resolution jpeg online. Steyerl also states that the more we open and save the jpeg file from the web, the more it loses its quality, hence we get a lower resolution than it is before. I find it interesting how Steyerl suggests that poor quality imagery conditions the viewers in a positive effect and how we tend to reformat the file; “The condition of the images speaks not only of countless transfers and…

Throughout the past few weeks of Studies in English Education, the main aspect that has been addressed is the term ‘multiliteracies.’ From completing this portfolio and attending each of the workshops, I have learned that to become a text producer I need to be involved with the variety of functions in language and literacy. Hill (2012) states that ‘to be multiliterate means to be literate in print-based and new communication technologies’ (p. 361). Such technologies include ‘electronic literacies, technoliteracies, digital literacies, visual literacies and print-based literacies’ (Hill 2012, p. 361).…

I was fascinated to learn about the elements in Art. I had always thought that art had no organization, guidance or system. I thought that people just painted or drew pretty much whatever they wanted with no apparent rules. The Visual Elements that Getlein mentions on chapter 4 consist of the following; line shape and mass, light, color, texture and pattern and last but not least; time and motion (Getlein, 2012). These elements are intrinsically woven in art!…
