On my budget, I learned a couple of things to do with saving money. Being only a nineteen-year-old, you learn how costly it can be to go away to extravagant places and being able to afford you’re entertains. The budget made me realize that a vacation isn’t just unforgetting memories but something that can put a dent into your saving account.
During my budget research one of the first things I did was my pre-travel. Now things can be pricy, for example, the Passport as a regular adult it would be hundred forty dollars (U.S. Department of State) However, as a student I would go with the triple A plan due to be a member. The cost would be eight dollars per set (passport & Passport Photo Information). Next, I searched …show more content…
I will be leaving through Boston Airport at 09:45 pm where it is a 15-hour flight. Then, my layover is in, Zurich 11:00 pm. At 6:05 I will fly to Graz and arrive at 7:15 am. My first choice is the student pricing, is the regular pricing of 1,551.00 dollars (Book Your Flight,). However, with the student discount, I would rather prefer that. This choice not only saves me money but only cost 896.00 dollars from “Cart.”With this fight I will depart from Boston at 9:30 pm and arrive in Dublin at 8:40 am for my layover. Then, I depart from Dublin at 6:00 am and arrive in Vienna at nine: 40 …show more content…
I will spend 27.28 dollars per mile to Styria. However, I could switch from Taxi to bus for a cheaper choice. The bus would be preferred since it would be only 11.00-20.00 dollars according to rome2rio Pty Ltd.
Where I will be staying is a big choice when I choose to go on the trip. Being a student and staying in a hostel would cost me 2,059.05 dollars for two weeks (Jungarbeiterbewegung, Österreichische). The other choice would save me so much money, I would couch surf for 7 days and stay at a hotel for the next 7. The hotel would cost me 812.00 dollars for seven nights. I was able to find this through “Grand Prix Hotel Spielberg, Spielberg, Austria.”
Now for insurance. I found a cheap insurance for my time for travel. The total cost for my insurance would be 55.00 dollars(Allianz). However, the student is even cheaper, the price is 18.91 with a student discount (seven Corners Student Travel Insurance).
Overall, I would go with my choice, traveling as a regular adult, you do find cheaper ways to save money while still enjoying yourself as your trip goes on. Yes, in a lot of cases traveling as a student is cheaper but what cost me the most money was where I was staying. For my choice I was able to search for the best deals and look for competitive
